Rural Infrastructure Engineer
Ms. Sabina Shrestha is a qualified Rural Infrastructure Engineer for Scott Wilson Nepal. She holds a B. Tech in Civil Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India. After her graduation, she interned at CE Construction Pvt. Ltd. At Scott Wilson Nepal, she works as an engineer on USAID funded Sajhedari Bikaas Project managed by PACT Inc., USA. She covers reconstruction support programs in six-earthquake affected districts. She has a vital role in monitoring, evaluating and building capacities of implementing teams for a range of clients, including OXFAM and Concern Worldwide, supporting school building, WASH and other infrastructures in reconstruction districts.
Her expertise areas include project implementation and management, capacity building, infrastructure, planning and program design, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Current Projects Involved
- Assessment of School Building Construction & monitoring of remedial measures in Gorkha and Dhading, Concerned Worldwide.
- Engineering Skill Training to local government engineering teams in Karnali Province, Oxford Policy Management, TSKEP (Technical Services for Karnali Employment Program).
- Climate Trek Nepal, Provision of Engineering Support for lodges along Helambu Trekking Route, Atmosfair, Germany.
