Talk Programme on “Understanding Gender Based Violence’. Dr. Suman Bisht

To mark the ‘International day for the elimination of Violence against Women’ and the subsequent 16 days of activism against Gender Based Violence SWN organized a talk program on November 27, 2019 where Dr. Suman Bisht, Senior Gender Specialist, from International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) delivered the lecture on ‘Understanding Gender Based Violence’. Dr. Bisht emphasized on the need of equitable access and control over resources, equal representation in decision making and safe environment for the women in all spheres of life.
