Anish Khanal is currently doing his masters’ degree with a major in Engineering Geology from the Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University. He has extensive experience in geological field works during his academic days including Himalayan geology and Engineering geology. He is currently doing his Masters’ thesis on the site response analysis of Hetauda City using microtremor observations. He has comprehensive knowledge of GIS, ILWIS, and some basics of MatLab coding. He is currently involved as a Project Officer (Geology) in ECHO-funded (Pratibaddha) Risk-Informed Landslide Management in Nepal’s Hill Area.
