Sushanta Nepal is an engineer with three years of extensive experience working with local governments and organizations spearheading projects in flood and landslide risk mapping, risk communication, and policy evaluation. Previously, associated with Youth Innovation Lab and Neo Civic Consulting, he has led initiatives like municipal infrastructure risk assessments, DRR & CCA toolkit evaluations, and flood risk mural projects that engage communities and promote resilience. His contributions include designing innovative adaptation measures and mainstreaming DRM and climate change adaptation (CCA) into municipal plans and policies.
His role as Technical Coordinator for Pratibaddha-III leverages over a decade of expertise in landslide management, risk assessment, and NbS. He provides technical support to provincial and local governments in disaster risk management, capacity building, and developing scalable landslide mitigation and preparedness frameworks.
