Indra Lal Pradhan is Transport Engineer and Road Maintenance Specialist with over 30 years of experience in infrastructure development, covering roads, bridges, procurement, geotechnical investigation, contract management, and performance monitoring systems. He holds a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, and has gained international experience working on railways, expressways, shelters, and major road construction projects. His career encompasses key roles such as Project Management Specialist for ADB in upgrading 388 km of rural roads in Nepal, Road Maintenance Specialist for ILO in formulating the Provincial and Local Road Maintenance Strategy under the World Bank–funded PLRIP, Data Management Engineer for the Ethiopian Roads Authority, and Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant for ADB in strengthening institutional systems at DoLIDAR. He has also contributed to bridge upgrading and rural access programs under DFID and has trained engineers in road and bridge supervision and labour-based maintenance.
At Scott Wilson Nepal, he currently serves as the Deputy Team Leader for the ADB TA–Rural Connectivity Infrastructure Project – Additional Financing (RCIP AF), providing leadership and technical oversight to support federal and provincial governments in enhancing transport sector management and implementing institutional development initiatives.
