Mr. Prakash Regmi is a passionate governance and public finance expert with over decades of experience in federalism (Political/Fiscal), decentralization, intergovernmental relations and public financial management. He was a prominent witness and a contributor to the state restructuring process/ political reform that happened in Nepal in last two decades in different capacity and forms. Proven track record in designing, leading and monitoring of implementation of large-scale (federal/local)governance projects in Nepal ( E.g Local Governance and Community Development Programme (LGCDP), Provincial and local governance Support Programme (PLGSP), Provincial Support Programme (PSP), Strengthening the Accountability of Local Government Project (SALGP), State Building at Local Level (SBLL) and Multi donor trust fund Public Financial Management(MDTFPFM)) and policy advising on the issues regarding constitution implementation, economic and financing policy and collaborating with key stakeholders, including government agencies and international development partners. Strong expertise in policy advisory, project management, public financial management and institutional capacity-building, with a focus on enhancing governance frameworks at federal, provincial, and local levels. Proven record of leadership in project management including result management, quality assurance of the delivery and team management.
