Enhancing Local Expertise for Resilient Local Road Design: Workshop in Jajarkot and Bajhang

दिगो, उपयोगी र सुरक्षित सडक डिजाइन सम्बन्धी जाजरकोट र बझाङमा कार्यशाला

A three-day technical training on local road design was conducted for engineers and technical staff from Barekot, Thalara, and Kedarsyun Gaunpalika under the EU-funded Pratibaddha-III Project. The training strengthened participants’ skills in engineering surveys and software-based road design, with a brief introduction to the application of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for slope stabilization and drainage management.

By equipping local engineering teams with practical expertise, the project continues to support Local Governments on sustainable and disaster-resilient local road development, ensuring proper road alignment, effective drainage systems, slope stabilization measures, and responsible earth management.

Pratibaddha-III project is led by People in Need Nepal in partnership with Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC), Scott Wilson Nepal, and Save the Children in Nepal
